    A Walk In The Rain

    A Walk In The Rain

    I saw a Robin and a squirrel.
    I saw a tulip bed.
I took a walk in the rain today.
And this went through my head.

    I saw the houses.
    The lawns and such.
    I felt the rain.
And it all said so much.

    This world we see.
    The animals and trees.
The people going here and there.
I get it all now, I understand. I swear.

This is a time to enjoy and see.
A very short time for you and me.
The smallest things have the most meaning.
And it was meant to be from the beginning.

    We just don't see.
What it was meant to be.
Take a walk in the rain.
    It will change everything.
