    A Warm Ligh

I have heard them say a mother is loved above all others.
I have heard them say that she can brighten up her children’s day.
I have heard them say that a mother is the bright warm light that keeps her flowers form the darkness.
I have heard that she is there for you no matter what.
I have heard she divides he attention equally among her kids.
I have heard she keeps her promises.

I used to be her flower and she was my warm light.
    I remember the delight

But then something happened. My light moved away, and now she has two other little flowers whom she gives her light away.

I remember she is never there for me all the way.
I can’t remember the last time she brightened my day.

Now she gives her attention to them and all I get are broken promises…
    The End.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
