    A Worker of Brick

His arms move with the ease and grace of a dancer.
There is no hesitation, no wasted motion
as his hands maintain the rhythm
    that only he can hear.
There is strength and intimate knowledge in the fingers
that piece together the intricate designs and patterns.
He is an artist whose work is testimony
to the beauty of his soul.

Thanks for the feedback--especially since it's positive.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
