    Abiding Hearts

Kindred spirits;/ Said to be few and far between./ Yet innocence unspoiled...../Even more fleeting than these./ Evading all criticism;/ Thine heart given me./ True beyond comparison;/ Ready until death do us part./ Giving inspiration;/ And permeating the fabric/ Of my being./ Rendering purpose with joy;/ Emulating what only God/ Can prepare./ The immortal heart in thee;/ So easily worn;/ This rarity of purity/ Called Marie./ Abiding forever; abiding in me;/ These delicate heartstrings/ God giveth to me....../ O love of my life.
