Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God

Our wish is His Command;/ Our dreams.....the clay/ In The Potter's Hands./ What is impossible for us/ Is the starting point/ Of His Mighty Handiwork./ Without hesitation, His Word proceeds/ Unto the fulfillment of Manifestation./ Mysterious are His Ways;/ Knowing what we cannot know;/ Seeing what we cannot see;/ Teaching all the needed skills./ As a mother suckles her needful child;/ So is He......in loving chastisment/ Of our lives./ For the answer to our tearful prayers/ Is not always in our favor;/ But our Father knows best/ The things which maim and kill;/ Our Father knows well/ Those things which hinder...../ And keep us from reaching/ The destined path./ Our Father knows the unexplained,/ The unfulfilled,/ And the heartwrenching turmoil/ Of endless waiting.....for His Answer./ Lean not unto thine own understanding...../ The only mantra we can bear./ Our Father knows The Total Picture;/ Dreams which were lost/ Are never really lost at all./ He shapes and molds them;/ Then gives them back again...../ Revealing hearts' desires/ We never knew we had./ Giving us beyond/ What we could ever ask...../ Or hope for./ Preparing us for the best/ Of all possible and impossible worlds./ The Lord our God/ Hath made a reservation;/ Prepared for those who love Him/ And seek His Holy Name:/ "Seed ye first The Kingdom of God/ And all His righteousness"..../ "And all these things/ Shall be added unto you"...../ Sometimes quickly;/ Sometimes slowly;/ Sometimes manifest in answers/ We didn't ask for...../ But always in our best interests....../ Both in this life/ And in the life of the world to come./

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
