    acknowledging what it is

“Awaken to the dark of the night,

With the emptiness on my mind

    I reach for comfort

I hold you in my hand

I see what a good friend you are to me

We struggle with words to write

          With memories to tell

               I hold you tied

The Mind full of honesty and ideas

With fiction ones and the painful ones

It will be all written with tears in vain

We start our journey by writing it all “

to see how many sentence it will take to write it all

                    For the world to read

    In the darkens we embrace

Telling you all my life story that I now know

I then look down and see it all in black and white

With an achievement of acknowledging what it is all about.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
