    Al Capone

    Al Capone
    What can I say?
He was the biggest gangster in the U.S.A
He did most his work in New York City
Then he became "Scarface" what a pity.
He moved to Chicago in 1919
All his thugs were cruel and mean
6 years later he was in charge
of a group of gangsters that was very large
4 years later the massacre came
But Al was not there, it was his gang
    Ellioit Ness tracked him down
And in 1931, Al went down
After 8 long years being locked up
    Capone was released (mostly luck)
Suffering from a disease for a long, long time
He was gone, just was not his time.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
