Sun sets slowly across the waves,as the breeze sweeps quickly across my face..
Today was a test,a painful trial..holding back tears as I muster a smile..
Today i heard what i never could dream..it's over j..and she knows everything..
Using precious gifts as a weapon somehow..done it before,doing it now..
My hope and faith are shaken and tattered,but in the end this won't even matter..
Love that is shared beyond all compare,no one destroys what's always been there.
I stand and i see beyond what's right here, as i wipe away another tear..
