hypocrites

The Church Pews are filled,not a Christian in sight,

All in there gossiping about Saturday night..

Tithe Buckets full,while neighbors starve out,

Tell me somebody, what's God about?

The Bibles are carried,the Hymns poorly played..

No pity on them come judgement day..

The crosses all hung on the necks and on ears,

But how many times have you wiped strangers tears?

The dinners at church so sweetly prepared,

How many meals have been joyfully shared?

The Hurting: The Dirty: The Unsightly Kind..

How many of them in your church will you find?

Jesus loves on the ugly and sad,

While the hypocrites make Him angry and mad..

The Truth and the Light not found in the pews,

But I ask you "church goers" are they found inside you??

Written by one who took Jesus to the streets when I couldn't find Him in the church.....
