Angels on earth are a gift from above,
Sent to us with HIS special love

To some they’re not perfect, to others they are strange,
But with understanding and guidance these opinions will change

These Angels we speak of are our special needs tots,
Love and acceptance are needed lots

These beautiful Angels strive so hard,
To be like the others playing in the yard

They laugh and they play and five it their all,
And teach us parents that this was our call

From GOD up in heaven, who gave us these gifts,
And gives us our courage and sometimes our lifts

To battle the odds our Angels were given,
Watch out world these kids are driven

To make that first sound, to take that first step,
To tear down the obstacles and make goals that are kept

These Angels are miracles, of that I am sure,
Only GOD can create these hearts so pure

They bring joy to our lives and bring tears to our eyes,
There is nothing more magical than to see a child try

These Angels are our destiny, to battle the ties that bind,
To bring to light GOD’s presence in our hearts, souls and minds

These Angles have made us wiser, stronger and full of hope,
They’ve taught us that together, we will always cope

These children that we cherish were born with birth defects,
And struggle full speed ahead to conquer the effects

They learn new ways to communicate and get their point across,
And people who won’t acknowledge them, will someday feel the loss

These have some bad times, and sometimes lots of pain,
But they keep right on fighting, and prove themselves again

These special gifts are GOD’s way of saying HE has a plan for us,
To open our hearts and our souls and find again our trust

In the words of the LORD and the love of our family clan,
To once again find peace and harmony in our land

I than k the LORD every day for the gift I have received,
I couldn’t be more honored that HE chose me to believe

In the power of prayer and the strength we give each other,
And the greatest gift of all, HE chose me to be an Angel’s Mother

This gift I will treasure always and verve take for granted,
Our family has become united by the love HE has planted

These Angels on earth will always feel and know,
That our love and encouragement will eternally grow

These Angels on earth, these shining lights of love,
Are our tests of faith in the LORD GOD above

These lessons are not easy, they truly are tough,
But GOD is there beside you and knows when you’ve had enough

The days are chaos, the nights are long,
And some days you fell that everything is wrong

But then you look at that special child,
Who brings tears of joy to your eyes and makes your heart beat wild

And you know that no matter how rough things appear,
This Angel on earth you will cherish and hold dear

Angels on earth are a gift from above,
And deserve laughter and happiness and unconditional love
