He's been there when I was in need
He's been there when I was in greed
    He's been by my side
    Through the whole ride
    I think I'm fallin'
    Without him ever callin'
    It's just that he care's
    Even through all the stares
    What do I do
If I'm falling in love with you
    But you don't know
    And it don't show
    But I can't say anything
    Or tell you in writing
    Cuz it's something i just don't do
Even if my feeling's are true

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
