Letter To My Mother And Father

    I write this letter
    And hope you'll feel better
    Cuz even though i died
    I want you to confide
    In my brother
    Cuz he's the other
    Side of me
    You didn't get to see
    Just make sure it's known
    When Jacob's all grown
That there was one like himself
Who's ashes are on the shelf
    Tell my mother
    That I love her
    Tell my father
    Not to bother
    With all the tears
For the rest of the years
    Cuz the memory of me
    Will be
    Brought by Jacob
    Each time you wake up

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
