“As Hannah & Samuel I prayed for You”

As hard as you can long for anything I cried out for you,
I prayed and travailed until my father answered my hearts cry, Like the bicycle on Christmas day or the first date that you can’t believe said yes,
I longed for you, day in and night out my heart ached for you.

Now you’re here, growing learning and filling days and nights with endless joy, I am so grateful, surely I have found favor with my father I am blessed. I can lift my voice and my travailing turns to song I am thankful.

The time has come and I must offer you, I am honored, the joy that I have I can now Give it back, looking at who you have become I am humbled, knowing that You are a man of valor I am proud. My heart will have continuous song because my fathers grace and mercy has been shown to me. I look in your eyes and I see the love and grace of The Father. I am proud to know you as a Man; I am honored to call you Son.
