    Ask out...

You start to walk toward me
    I stare at the ground
    You start talking to me
    I just look around
    You're finally asking me out
    I can't hear a sound
    You ask me again
    I fell my heart pound
    You smile down at me
    I look up and frown
    You ask me "Whats wrong?"
    I say, "I'm no one's rebound"

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
