BALANCE ©

By: Philip Ambassadorfil McKenley

A balance in everything is the best measure to ever achieve,

Such like a balanced diet that requires us to balance the nutrients in the meals that we eat.

But the quest and the question begin with - How to achieve this balance within me?

The Father wants us to live balanced lives, and it’s this balance that will set us free.

How do you know when to ask (such as “Ask and you shall receive” – ‘leaving at the foot of the cross’)?

Or how do you know when to declare (“If you shall SAY to this mountain be moved…”) and see it come to past?

How do you know when to persist in prayer (i.e. to keep asking) as the parable with the woman pleading before the Judge?

Or when you should “Seek first the kingdom and ALL other things shall be added” without a need to pray, say or budge.

How do you know when to “Be still” and know that He is God,

Or fight, because the “…violent take it by force.”

How do you know the direction by which you should trod,

Or when to be directed by His Spirit on this life’s course?

How do you know how long you should spend in the presence of the King,

Or how long must you have fellowship in the Church,

And when next to move to minister to this world?

Intimacy with God is primary, but this alone is not right -

A man after God’s heart MUST seek that LOST SHEEP, and be ever ready to fight.

“Forsake not the assembling of God’s people” is the command given to us,

But must this be where all or time is spent – When should we “SEEK & SAVE THE LOST?”

These are a few of the questions that claims that this imbalance within our lives maybe true,

My question to God was raised, now I am forwarding it to you.

How do we achieve this balance, when to stop, go, be still, fight or fast?

He answered that it is THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT – HE WILL DIRECT OUR PATHS. (Prov. 3: 4-6)

He who is led by the Spirit will know no sin (Gal. 5:16)

Desire HIM more than ever – THEY THAT HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL BE FILLED (Matt. 5:6)
