    Been There

    I've been where you are
    I know the pain.
    The scars,
    The bruises,
    The emotions.
    I've been there
    I've feared for my life.
    I've fought for my life.
    I still fight memories daily.
    Keep fighting
    Get out
    Get out now
    Don't get sucked in
    Keep the darkness at bay
    Push forward.
    Only you can help yourself
    Help yourself be free.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
