Beneath the Ashes

Beneath the Ashes

Beneath the ashes there is rubble and debris.
Some would say its a sight most eyes could not bare to see.
Once the ashes have been removed and all the dust is clear.
There's a beauty underneath if you search deep within.

Looks are deceiving when all seems destroyed
but beneath all the ashes there is peace and comfort.

Ashes can't hold comfort, only faith can see.
Ashes, though dusty, can hold an inner beauty.

Remember before you discard, look through and beneath.
I promise in the ashes you'll find God's keeping peace.
