Sleepy Breeze

Sleepy Breeze

I once experienced a breeze, some years ago
this breeze blew from the north from the lake of my home.
As I laid by the window and breathed in the cool air
this breeze I experienced mesmerized me to a stare.
As I stared at the sky, I thought how wonderful it must be
to be able to move around so freely.
To be able to blow in the coolness of the day.
And then be able to give comfort along the way!
This breeze blew so soft, soothing my spirit,
to a point of no return.
Sleepy breeze it was, as I communed with heaven
no worries,no concerns.
As I let go of my stress that breeze lifted me
Then a Spirit carried me,
to a place so beautiful and bright.
Where the sun would shine all day
and there was never any night.
As I breathed one last breathe
of that soft comfortable breeze.
My eyes were opened and I was in bed on my knees.
I don't know if I dreamed or if I was really carried away,
by the breeze I experienced from the North that cool day.
