    BEUTIFUL EYE

    Cosmetic wonder

    Obsession of my heart

    My body gets chills

I quiver at the sight of my love

    Oh goodness I smile inside

    Do you feel it?

    Imagine us inter-twined in bliss

    Your curly quirky hair

No one sees what I see

To hold your hand is unreal

Smile as wide as the sea

Calm when you are beside me

Longing to die if I can’t be with you

What do I see in you they say?

I’m a child all over again in your arms

Sit by me and let’s gaze silly

As you straighten your glasses I laugh

You made me believe in geeky and the stars

It’s cool to be you and be me

    Hearts wide open

You may not be a ten in plain sight

    Awkwardness about you

    But you’re good to me

    I can’t deny

    Beautiful one

    My eyes are for you

apple, Your candor is what makes this love poem so whimsical and interesting. Your heart is on your sleeve and he can snatch it at any second LOL! ginga

So simple and beautifully written. An honest view of what you find sexy, humorous, and loving about your man. Any guy would be lucky to have that. Good job TS

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
