    Black Mirror

    I'm a suicidal teen
    protesting your breed.
    Refusing your
    street corner wear,
    anorexic style
    willing to degrade
    yourself for a one
    night stand.
    Teased hair
    and clown like face
    is grotesque.
    Twirling your hair,
    these mellow dramatic stare
    doesn't turn him on.
    to you your happiness
    is written at
    the bottom of your glass.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
