    Bloodlust

    Spiraling into darkness
      Nothing to break the fall.
I've tried to resist its sweet call.
All there is to greet me is the echo of emptines
And the  hunger swallows me whole.

    The never ending ache
     The never ending torment
    Blackening my soul.
The endless hunger driving me further into madness.
    Making me lose control.
I can feel it itching and burning claiming whats left of me.

My heart pounding in my ears.
The thrill of the chase thrums in my vains.
I move in for the kill taking it down and drinking it all.
Finally satisfied I slink my way home Mistress of the night once more.

slinky, slinky, I found another bloody slinky poet.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
