    Broken Thoughts

    What I know

    is not as important as

    what I don’t know

    If I could would I?

    I have learned to try

    I have seen too much

    but not nearly enough

    I listen because I care

    Helping a friend

    or

    a stranger in need

    It makes me cringe

    when I witness

    the inhuman factor

    For no particular reason

    at no particular time

    I sadly miss those

    loved ones gone

    but never  forgotten

    My biggest fear is

    I cry alone

    I laugh at things

    Always at play

When I was a little girl

    Forever & Ever

    really was

    Look and be amazed

at the little miracles of life

    It’s never too late

    If you believe

    I write I sing I dance

    I Love

    The eyes are closed

so I may follow my heart

    which is always open

    I dream and wish

    walk and ponder

    For these are the

    broken thoughts

    of my

    Life

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
