Broken

Broken

I can cry no more.

The tears I shed yesterday
have since become vast oceans
and I find myself,
longing to forget those memories of you
I try with each passing whisper of the wind
to empty out myself
and rid my thoughts of you
I try ,not once, but with each passing moment
to canvas new thoughts, new feellings
that would in enitirety
drown every bit of knowledge of you.

I can cry no more,

I smile at the relief
that overwhelms me now
as I find myself
with eagle's wings
soaring above the storms
as they pursue my fragile heart
the remnants of you are gone.
