    Brothers Keeper

When I heard the call of my country
Her slain whispers were made Plane to see
That the voice of all Sons & Daughters
Is the Fight in the Land of the Free

So I sunk American boots in
    Distant soils on Historic Lands
Where hate smiled for my Attention
Through the Eyes of Foreign Children

And I met my Keepers Brother

In the Harsh Sands of Babylon
    Beyond the Crumbled Ancient Stones
Along the Holy Roads to Mecca
    When America Came Alone

And while the Dark desert Surrounds us
With terror to Silence the Native Voice
Where Bomb blasts seek us Throughout the night
Because Freedom starts with a Choice

So I fought my Keepers Brother

In the Hot winds of Fallujah
    Along the Roadsides Broken Bones
    Against the Sons of Islam
    Where America Fights Alone

And I saw the face of Freedom
In the Hearts of those who see the Truth
They die with us for Democracy
With Broken Nails and Shattered Tooth

And I became my Brothers Keeper

In spite of distant Eyes of Uncertainty
And the Blood of fallen Foes
To find the Peace beneath the Chaos
    So America can go Home

We didnt Start this Holy War
Yet here Freedom has taken Root
To Squash the Weeds of Hatred
    With an American Boot

Now I am my Brothers Keeper

    Beneath the Cardboard Rooftops
We Build with Sticks and Stones
To Plant the Seeds of Equality
    While America Stands Alone

So if Gods Will died with Able
Then its left to the Sons of Cain
To see the blood of Abraham
Bleeds in us - all the same
