    Poem Commentary

I really upset because my aunt died, and I wanted to express my feelings about her.

    Bye, Bye Auntie

My sister I have already dished her,
My brother who wants his custard,
But all I wanted was to see my auntie,
One more time before she died,
    "Bye, cruel world,"
    She thought,
    As I sighed,
    Mom says death is natural,
I thought taking a breath was natural,
And we all know life isn't fair

I think this is a wonderful expression of one's self and sad that she had to go.

Deeply expressed of grief...I really enjoyed reading. Thanks! Topaz

How very good. I am seeing so many concepts in the undercurrent of this simple poem which isn't simple at all.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
