Can I borrow you for a moment?

We sat in a room with a silent tv,
watercolered butterflies and flower petals fell from our lips,
our fingers traced complex algorithims in the air
as we wired the complex circutry of nonsense,
buzzing ballet slippers of tiny angels danced on the back of our necks
as we laughed at the silliness of it all,
we stood barefoot on the carpet as it transformed into a forest of fuzzy furry powder pink trees,
We rode giant pirate ships down the tiny creek, and held the dark forms off with wooden swords, till the morning came and they slunk off licking their wounds,
We burned in a fierce fire and were reborn as great winged creatures the likes of which no mortal eye has seen,
We soared through space like rockets and tunneled through distant planets searching for treasures, but we had to give them back,
and as much as I would like to keep you forever, I know that one day I will have to give you back too, because you don't belong to me,
but I really don't wan't to give you back, I want to dance in the garden with you forever, but you see... I don't really belong to me either, and one day I'll have to give me back too, as much as I'd like to keep me forever... I just hope when that time comes you remember my name, if I even have one then.
