Candels In The Window

Candels In The Window

As the white candle burns,

In the window so bright,

It can be seen for miles,

As a beacon in the night,

It is lite for those to know,

From these people they do care,

And with all their caring and love,

From within they will share,

So as your driving by,

And as in the windows you will see,

That candles and the laterns,

Have played a part in history,

In the revolutionary times,

When one by land and two by sea,

They have all been symbol for us,

Of those that fought to keep us free,

If in windows a candle you will burn,

To show all those how you care,

Then maybe as time will go,

There will be more candles to share.
