    Classic Will Never Die

    Classic Will Never Die

From the quirky school, I’ve been rejected

But do not fit in with the dejected

They think I’m plain, they’re odd and crude

And I’ve more thoughts about this, too...

    Beauty will always please

    Intellect is always wise

    Kindness will likely warm

    Romance the healthy high

    Logic’s always the reason

    And balance tells no lies

    Deep meaning will always comfort

And what’s classic will never die.

Classic is nature, not a copy

    Form functions, honors and respects

    Breaking rules is for enhancement

When things worsen, it’s not correct

No form = no art, confusion

Some frantic jumbles, not theory wise

Let down crowds pass by, with a sigh

    Classic will never die.

    Ambiguity for more relation

    Obscure hints air of mystery

    Impressionism is not disorder

    This abstraction, just frightening

Morbid issues, not on their dime

I’ll give what’s loved, uniquely mine

Unstable rebellion, not through God’s eye

    Classic will never die.

Great taste is in fresh food

    Food itself around since time

What’s smooth will always feel good

    Music sounds right with rhyme

Mind and eyes see what’s insightful

Scents and notes known to the blind

    Sensitivity notes what’s fine

    Classic will never die.

Art is magic for the people

Sharing fun, hearts one and same

    Having faith creates life beautiful

Art the highest, don’t give bad name

    Master’s trials always their own

    Shakespeare’s tone can’t be a lie

    Culture connects the people

    Classic will never die.

    Classic, God’s art model

Redress and undress ‘til it’s fine

    Mere things, yes, always lesser

    Living well is still divine!

    Study, ask, develop skill

See how quirky spends the time

    Philosophy’s the touching vibe

    Classic will never die.

Cries for passion create the theories

    Theories dazzle—the sought high

    This the energy for solutions

For life’s matters of all size

The way life is, is not a copy!

From God or theorists of early time

Theories are yours, learned on your own

    And why…

    Beauty will always please

    Intellect is always wise

    Kindness will likely warm

    Romance the healthy high

    Logic’s always the reason

    And balance tells no lies

    Deep meaning will always comfort

And what’s classic will never die.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
