    Cliché’

Is the glass half empty is the glass half full
Are you country or are you soul
are you helpless or do you have pull
    legit or on the dole
so much to know and little time to be
what makes us tick is there light to see
yellow, blue or in the pink
I just need space, some time to think
it can all be gone at the speed of a wink
I need to clear my head shut my head
open the door wake up the dead
I need answers I need to think
sit still and take a drink
it all so simple and complex
sticks and stones can break my bones
but words now words can hurt me
so throw out the mumble jumble
and bring in the rose colored glasses
before we all fall on our asses
talk is simple talk is cheap
in words a consequence you reap
so speak softly speak to me slow
in words that I will know
and then we can be friends

Funny how we say cliches and fail to realize that sometimes that somes up our day or even some folks life, enjoyed greatly
