    Conscious Decision

    Shielded in the sanctions
    of my own sadness,
Blinded by the doubt in my own denial
Angered by the aggravations in the thought
    of the after-thoughts,
    LOST LOVE
    LEFT LOVING,
Contemplated in the conscience of my own mind
the happiness of leaving this all behind.
Not by my own hands or the act of my obsessions,
but by the act of indulging in my flesh&ignorance,
    PRAYED MANY
    CRIED OCEANS,
Pained by the power of this intelligent emotion
Struggling to survive the stride of this sinful suicide,

Taunted by the tantrums&tragedies of my own mind

Sleep in the slumber of my self-less soul

Awakened by the sunlight to give life just one more go.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
