Is to help the unloved find happiness
And someone to share the bliss
But sometimes my true love stories
Really go amiss.

On Valentine’s Day ten years ago
He stole her heart away
For true love they found together
Each and every day

Throughout the years
As time was spared
He swept her off her feet
Always loving, always caring, always at her feet

But this year I have failed
As she sits there and she weeps
You see her true love left her lonely
An end WE did not see

Even as an Angel, I cannot do anything
To have him home is all she wants
For they are not complete

His heart is now with someone else
A journey she can not see
Why did he have to go
And Knock her off her feet?

To break the way of Cupid’s world
Really isn’t fair
For now I have failed
To keep their true love aware

So this Valentine’s Day is dreary
For I did not do my job
I could not complete God’s wish
Of combining their true love
