    Poem Commentary

There's turmoil where there should be peace. Sometimes we have to think how to make amends, and hope they can hear it as well as we say it.

    Dad and son

    dad won't talk to son
    son won't talk to son
    and I wonder, is that
    all they learned?
    Generations are not only
    heirs to genes
    but their idiosyncrasies
and it's not just as well
    we should love one another
    as God loves his Son,
    his adopted children as well
    are loved by everyone
in the new world to come
    Glory be to God
