    Dagger Run

Daggers drive deep in my heart
    Out pour the tears
    Unleashed is the pain.

    Anger and frustration well up,
    Fighting the emotion was useless.
    Acknowledging them brought fear

    Could these ever be controlled?
    I wanted to lash out
Lash out in anger at everything
Anything that held breathe drew my anger.
To beat it out of me seemed the only answer

I ran, ran to the woods
    Away from anyone near
Here I sat, I paced, I screamed out
Screaming to no one, yet to everyone

Tears for me, love for you
    I miss you
