    Dance

So we move into the dance
    My mouth on yours
    A lover's trance
    It's been too long
    I've felt this ease
    Your touch
I take your body into mine
Heals a broken part of me
    And yet
I feel the need to flee
    Reject before you reject me
    Still here you are
    Smiling

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
