Darkened Psalm

Darkened Psalm

Solace in retreat from
familiarity and huddled
in the wild
closeness born out
from the unfamiliar
just as darkness
narrows the world
to those shadows close
to an elbow
any textured brushed
onto the fingertips
and that is the
universe to the
blind. Plunged into
absolute black I
join them and so
am confined or expanded
to mental limitless
limits.

i like it it gives off of the feeling of not being able to breath and it's good i like it

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
