Darkness

    Darkness

I live in a vortex of solitude
    Emptiness consumes me

    My heart blackened by years
    Of abuse and neglect

    Like a corpse
    My soul slowly decomposes

    The sweet aroma of love
    Smothered by the
    Stench of hatred

    Sorrow dominates my life
    Exausted from walking
    The halls of time

    Alone
    In infinite darkness

Your title suits this well. It is very powerful. I like your work
