    dear dad

    Dear Dad,

You said we didn’t fight enough
And I never spoke words of hate
    Now I’m mad as ever
Even if this was matter of fate

But through my struggle with anger
    I’m feeling fear and pain
I don’t want to mourn your death
For your life was not in vain

The woman I am and becoming
    You deeply took apart of
You taught me what I know
All my compassion and my love

Here I’d like to thank you
For never giving up on me
    Pushing me to my limits
So I can be all that I can be

    I will never quite understand
    Why you are now gone
    I will forever love you
And your spirit shall live on

    Your Daughter,
    Heather Nicole

you got a lot of heart kid

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
