    Easier said than done

    All the smiles
    All the lies
    All of it slowly dies

    Every thing you were
    Every old way
    It’s gone, close your eyes
    Start a new day

    Time to stand up
    Time to be loud
    Time to let them
    Finally be proud

    Let it all pour out
    For them to see
    Nothing left unsaid
    That’s the key

    Lose the nerves
    Gain the hate
    Let them know
    You’re done biting the bate

    And it means so much
    When everyone stands
    With that one simple act
    Of clapping their hands

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
