    Dear Daughter

Hello my dear and how are you,
I'm just wondering why you're still so blue?
Please dry your tears and weep no more,
for my flesh is gone but my spirit soars.
I'm here with Jesus hand in hand,
free from pain in the promised land.

So you see my love I'm fine up here,
and I know you miss me but shed no tears.
Enjoy your Mother's Day as you should,
    I wouldn't miss it if I could!
Because I'm with you always at your side
watching now with my heavenly eyes.

With the memories that you share I will live on,
in your heart and anothers favorite song.
Go on now with all your life to live,
your greatest gift you have yet to give.
Dear heart be blessed and do take care,
for your sister and I will wait for you here.

    --Love Mom

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
