    Deja vu

    Deja vu
    It’s something like a covenant
First our pheromones embrace, and dance, and mingle with secret intent
And so I’m open before my eyes ever love, ever speak, ever wish
And though I’m there, I’m here like my past life
Submerged in the fury of obsession
The weak in my heart now counsels me
But the thunder that is her pulse, is felt by the beg in my jeans
    Deja vu
    Like a quake and tsunami
And at the wake of my spirit, there’s another lullaby to slumber
That dreams of a conception matrixed, unfathomable to me
So I seem virginic in intercourse, seemingly entering the course
To find a life line tethered to something real
    A substance found in Africa
    An earth from creation’s birth
And I’m birthed sweetly aroused, erected by
    Deja vu
    Like a hammer’s strike
    Hard like euphoria’s bite
And her teeth sharper than venom
Hotter than the first and last stars thirst
Like showers of waterfalls, piercing souls with eternal beauty
It’s like when you are empty, unable to weep
For greater or less, empty, emptied into emptiness
Shallow like hollow nipples that cease to tingle
And this is like resurrections to heaven heavens and sevens virgins
The existence and traces of existing
Though we may not at times want to hear of matrimony and passion
    You do, as I
Feel something like a covenant in this
    Deja vu

Great alliteration and word play....'intercourse seemingly entering the course' brilliant!! 2 thumbs way up!

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
