    "The Meaning of Falling"

    I see her everyday
Yet I can't speak the passwords
That unlock the gates of paradise
    Now when she breathes or
    Softly yawns before she blinks
    I glance into her eyes
    The windows of ecstacy
    Known in time by love
    Whispering dreams hear thirsting hearts
    She humbles me
    She the essence of beauty
My embrace belongs to her breasts
As I long for heaven within her touch
So near, erectly quivering in tears
Then sounds of love hum gently
Like butterfly wings upon rose pedals
And so we dance to its rhythm
    Eternally playing in our bed
    The felt of my soul
    Calling, needing, yearning
To kiss the hem of her
    My warmest affections
She is the one whose smile is worth
    My soul's heart and
    Eternal Love

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
