    Departure

Two different writings on the wall
I thought that i was free
    I never knew at all
the hold it had on me

    The depth of my content
    The value of his heart
    Above all the rest
    Where do we even start?

No more does life have meaning
    Existence rolls off our backs
The core we think we're reaching
    is slipping through the cracks

So when you're ready to fly
    please don't go too far
    spread your wings with pride
and you may reach the stars.

    good flow and structure

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
