    DISTANT LOVER

let my words caress your heart
let my love console your mind

anguish embeds the pit of your eyes
so now you see what im saying

time travelers living in the past
skip the present and plan the future

    hopes evade reality
    your imagination grounds you

    more than commradory a legacy
    new beginnings

fear deprives a strong mind as
    you advance forward in time

    smiles set you free
    kisses entrap you

    days are numbered
    love is countless

lose ourselves in one another my distant lover
sending you kisses in a poem since i cant touch you

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
