    Do You Pray!?

Throughout all of the excitement of the economy being low,did
you get down o your knees and pray?
If you are having the same kind of nightnares that I am having
I would like for you to do a favor for me.
Wait until things are quiet and the mid-night is all that you can hear.
Take out your Bible and read Matthew, 6th Chapter, 5-13 and tell me
what kind of feelings comes into the atmosphere?
Did it help you to know that we are headed to a better day?
Where your chills anything like mine in any way?

I am so disappointed in knowing we can't believe in God's will.
Murders still going on like it's O.k. for us to kill.
My heart is broken and I don't know how we can be at ease.
What if God were to plus His love and blessings on a freeze?
Do you pray that we can get out of these circumstances in our country?
Are you starting to feel what the homeless feel when we ask to be free.
Do we pray for veins things or do we pray for the states to be in unity?
The way we pray, is exceptable, by the way that our Lord see?
This poem might be pointing in a direction, but we need a wake up call.
Trying to put God on the back burner will cause anyone to fall.
Time for us to Change our ways and then we'll see a better day.
Times will get better if we set aside our selfish ways and we all pray.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
