    DON'T BE A LYRIC

    RUNNING, RACING.
    WALKING, PACING.
    STOP !

WHEN IS HE COMING HOME ?

    SAD , CONFUSED.
    STRESSED AND MISUSED.
    STOP !

IS HE EVER GOING TO CALL ?

    SLUGGISH, LAZY.
    MAD AND CRAZY.
    STOP !

WHY IS HE DOING THIS TO ME ?

HE'S NOT, IM SELF INFLECTING THIS PAIN.
EVERYDAY! THE SAME, THE SAME, THE SAME !
    I REFUSE TO GO INSANE,
    TIME FOR A CHANGE.....

    STANDING TALL, CHIN UP HIGH.
    SMILE ON MY FACE,
    SPARKLE IN MY EYE.

    NO MORE STOPPING
    TIME TO MOVE RIGHT ALONG.....
RUFUSE TO BE THE LYRIC'S OF A SAD LOVE SONG!

I like it, I think we have all been there at one time or another. Sounds like a strong person who can stop the pain, I just lived through it.

That's what I'm talking 'bout. Life is too bright to let another soul dim.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
