Don't Hang Loose

Don't Hang Loose

Don't hang loose in burden and sin
Let our Dear Lord, Jesus come in
Don't hang loose, in the filth of today
Lord Jesus our Savior, He is our way
Don't hang loose in gossip about
Be hidden in Christ, for He helps us out
When your yolk is heavey, to heavey to bare
Remember Our Lord, and know He does care
He will lift off that yolk, to your delight
Trust in the Lord, with all of your might
Don't hang loose, to our Jesus pray
He is the truth, the life, and our way
Don't hang loose, get into His word
He is our Savior, He is our Lord
Don't hang loose, let your love show
Hang out with our Jesus
And your faith there will grow

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
