    Dream

    Today I had a dream
A vision, a portrait of some romantic work
    Strong in it’s technique
    Provoking expression of thought

    This was no ordinary dream
    But one of unimaginable creation
    An untimely story
    A fairy tale of sorts

I saw my lover in the distance
    Faintly drawing near
    A smile, a touch, a heartbeat away
    He touches me beyond

    A gentleman of sorts
    Spoken words of the heart
A phrase or two of passion
    He leaves me breathless

This is a man of conviction
    His heart lives within me
    He’s strong and courageous
    He know no yield

I found him in a mystical place
    Something most would dream
He caught me with his smile
    He keeps me with beauty

    Today I had a dream
    He came to me again
This time I did not awake
    My dream is my reality
