Dreamland

When my head is on my pillow
And the moon is rising high
I can hear the whip-o-will a
     calling to his mate
         through out the night
My eyes grow heavy as the
crickets sing to me a lullaby
I drift off into another world
Where peace is king
Tranquillity is queen
And Peace is law of the land

Just above the horizon
There is a brilliant  light
So beautiful to see
But as I draw nearer to that
     horizon I awaken to find
the sun smiling down on me
Alas it was only a dream
B ut dreams have away of
    showing you truth
For this was the land of my heart
The world of my soul
And deep within that land of my heart
Is where Peace and Tranquillity rule
Is a  brilliant, beautiful light
     which is the Lord
