    Dreams

I dreamt of you last night
Not just the Dream of Fire
Of passion and white hot desire
Of sweat and sheets messed up
    Of melted into embrace
Or candlelight flickering in your face

I dreamt of you last night
Not just the Dream of Air
The phantom that is not there
    Your arms wrapped around me
Your breath on the back of my neck
Turn to pull you close in my arms
    Slip right through
    The phantom that is air

I dreamt of you last night
Not just the Dream of Water
    As rain to river
    River to sea
    Sea to ocean
I know there is something bigger
    Something more in this emotion

I dreamt of you last night
Not just the Dream of Earth
    A thought, like Seed
    Planted grows to a tree
    Become the fuel for Fire
    The leaves in the Wind
The dam to stop the Water

I dreamt of you last night
It was the Dream of Spirit
    Of hope, heart-felt joy,
    Contentment and meaningful fulfillment
Like the wild horses run along the plain
Like the eagle soars in the sky
I long, I long to see you fly
