    In the emptiness I see,

    In the emptiness I fly,

    In the emptiness I hear silence,

    In the emptiness I find reverence,

    In the emptiness I think,

    In the emptiness I fit,

    In the emptiness I feel,

    In the emptiness I heal,

    In the emptiness I recover,

    In the emptiness....

    I surrender

    Nice twist. Unexpected ending. In emptiness perhaps we have nothing but growth ahead of us. What else is there to lose? All the gain lays ahead. A bright spot in the darkness perhaps. Well written.

    the is the first encounter with you, however I don't see any blank paper before me. I can see nicely written piece of work, great rhyming though.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
